My food for thought this weekend

I won’t take much of your time, but three quotes caught my attention this weekend.

It might be cliched for some but each offered a distinct perspective across networking, productivity and resilience. Among all, the last one was my favourite.

Here you go:

1. “The larger the network, the more resilient you are to misfortune” — Varun Mayya

The quote highlights the practical value of building connections, not just for opportunities, but as a safety net.

It is similar to the quote “Your network is your net worth”.

2. “Done is better than perfect. Iterate, don’t hesitate” — Justin Welsh

It is a light but thought-provoking reminder that progress often trumps perfection.

In addition, it also serves as a call to action for those of us including me who are prone to overthinking.

This reminded me of Atomic Habits written by James Clear.

3. “If something doesn’t happen, that means bigger things are in store for you” — Vaishnavi Bhupalam

Being my favourite of all, this quote offers an interesting reframe for dealing with disappointment.

It is similar to the quote,” If it is not a happy ending, it is not the end”.

To end this, I’ll ask you a question.

What quotes or ideas have you found thought-provoking lately?
